(c. 1745) 38 x 47 A finely engraved and detailed map of South America by Richard Seale. Published in Tindal's translation of Paul Rapin De Toras's History of England. The map features extensive detail on mainland and coastal South America and also the Galapagos Islands, discovered by the Spanish as early as 1535 but not completely mapped on this map.
